Big brothers Big Sisters: 2007 Cobiz Magazine top nonprofit company
On September 12, 2007, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado was awarded ColoradoBiz’s Top Company Award in the nonprofit industry category. The Top Company award recognizes distinction in business and economic enterprise for Colorado companies and is widely regarded as Colorado’s most competitive statewide business-excellence program. The award has been presented for 20 years but 2007 is the first year the nonprofit industry category was included.

Vinny Castilla to Serve as Big Brothers Big SIsters' Spokesperson
BBBSC is proud to announce that Vinny Castilla, of the Colorado Rockies, is our 2008 spokesperson for the Sports Buddies mentoring program. In an effort to recruit more male mentors, BBBSC has created a multi-media campaign that will feature Castilla, including billboards, print ads, and a video on the Sports Buddies website.
In conjunction with the Sports Buddies Campaign featuring Castilla, BBBSC is also running television commercials staring All-Star First Baseman, Todd Helton.These ads will run during Rockies games this season.Helton’s ads both encourage more men to sign up for Sports Buddies and will also bring awareness to BBBSC’s Cars Helping Kids Program.Please check out our car donation program at http://www.biglittlecolorado.org/cars_helping_kids.html and donate your car to help the kids of BBBSC today!
